Anything but a win tomorrow and the title race is surely over. Van Persie is back tomorrow too. Not sure if he'll start, but we will be seeing the V man. Win tomorrow, Spurs beat Chelsea on Sat, we beat Wigan Sunday...wide open. Wishful thinking, but Chelsea were pretty ordinary tonight and if Van Persie is giving it his all and not going in soft with World Cup thoughts then we got a shot.

Try seeing things in dicussions in a less "clubistic" way.

I love Quaresma, I think he is just being misused. Quaresma, now theres a guy, who I always believed, if given the right oportunity, could be as great as Nani, or even Ronaldo. He was misused in Barcelona, and misused in Chelsea and Inter. Only Sporting and Portog used him well.

Freddy Addu was always overated. He was never billed as the next Eusebio or Pele, at least by me. He came from the USA with that label, but seriously, if Benfica belived that crap, he would have played more, and not being transfered after only 1 season.
Dont get me wrong, Addu would be an awesome player in any given team,but he wasnt matured enough.

But the DiMaria comparisions come from guys who really know what they are talking about. You got Messi himself, Maradona, and Simeone all talking about the similarities between Messi and DiMaria. DiMaria IS SIMILAR to MESSI in MANY WAYS, but he isnt on Messis level YET. He can reach it, but he will need to grow more as a player, and probably, a more competitive championship.

DiMaria remembers me of Ronaldo when he started on the first team of Sporting. And look at where Ronaldo is.
His first year here, was shit. But he grew up and developed his game over the last 2 years.

As Underated as the Portuguese championship is, we arent on the same level as the Premiership, or the Spanish championships, or Italians.

Also, Tipsy, I dont know if you heard, but the outcome of Benfica vs Liverpool could be different. Im not diminishing Liverpool. Its a tough team to defeat, but with the team we have, we could have done a better job, if the team wasnt tired. Heres the thing, In Portugal, most supporters, are still thinking why in the hell, did we have a match on Monday against Rio Ave (We scored 4-2, losing by 2-0 and scoring 4 goals out of nowhere), when we were going to have a match on thursday when the natural thing to do, would have been moving the match to the previous sunday or saturday, to allow the team to rest before the big game, ON ANOTHER COUNTRY.

For whatever reasons the Football Manager series just doesn't like my PC and I can not get it to run. My PC is old but it definitely has the necessary specs to be able to play the game.

My fav PC game ever was Championship Manager 01/02. Everything about that game was amazing, the skins, the menus, the gameplay, the realism. I would like a recent update of that particular game.

When I get a new PC (One of these days) I will definitely pick up Football Manager (Which I believe is what Championship Manager is called now). Nice team by the way Ravel, Robinho is always phenominal on these games, way better than in real life, ditto Shweinsteiger.
