Excuse me, guys. Doesn't anyone use vermouth anymore? Basically when I've made martinis in the past, I would put the ice in the shaker and then a half a shot of the vermouth and shake it and coat the ice and drain off the leftovers. Then make the martini.--------------------
Gone, gone, gone. I've done my time and it's time to move on.

Watching Attack of the Show and they were featuring a drink that sounds like to wouldn't taste good at all. Vodka Lemonade Heavy CreamBut it is suppose to taste like a starburst creme thing. At least that's what they said. They are on TV, they could have lied about what they actually used. --------------------

I recently turned 21 not too long ago, and decided to have a buffet of drinks to see what I liked that best, and the result was sex on the beach, contains plenty of alchohal, and goes down smooth and is yummy. Don't remember the exact ingredinents but it was something likeVodka Peach snapps Pineapple juice A splash of half and half Ice pour over ice in a high ball glass and stir. -------------------- Banana nut is my favorite

I'm not sure if recipe would be the correct term, it seems like something I should know but for some reason have no idea..LOL! Anyway, good topic...I think. Not that I know much about drink mixing and considering I can't drink at all, I haven't done much of it in years. However, I googled Apple Martini: 1 part Absolut® vodka 1 part DeKuyper® Sour Apple Pucker schnapps 1 part apple juice Pour all into a shaker. Shake well and strain into a martini glass. There you go, your wife will think(know) you're awesome for it! ![[Thumbs Up]](graemlins/thumb.gif) --------------------

In an effort to boost activity in this folder, I figured I'd ask a question in here than anywhere else. Does anyone have a good recipe for an Apple Martini? My wife loves Scrubs and wants to try one. That means I have to learn how to make one.If you don't know any Apple Martini recipes (is recipe the word for a drink?), maybe you have a good mix to another drink that you'd like to share. Or do you just do the basic scotch or beer? So, in a topic I'm sure most people (at least 21CDB) should like, let's talk alcohol... --------------------
