Okay... ONE good thing about Raw! Alberto Del Rio, now my current favorite WWE heel, reminds me a bit of "The Model" Rick Martell. He's got a similar cocky heel persona and look to him, kinda like some of the great heels of years ago that I grew up watching.

Years of programming, hours of epic matches and countless superstars, 899 airings of WWE Monday Night Raw lead up to... A 900th that was a GIANT letdown! That's it! I'm not watching next week!

I COULD give a few examples of this whole build-up to a letdown, but I think the entire episode, asside from the three-way tag match maybe, took that premise that ran with it... Okay, maybe I should've said botched with it! In the words of Tom Servo of MST3K, "This thing started bad then fizzled out all together!"

As for Jericho, I think he did the best by just walking out. Yes, his contract is expiring soon, likely the reason behind his current storyline because it gives them an easy way to either do away with him if he doesn't sign or keep him if he decides does sign.

As for ending this, I've got THREE words for ya... SHUT UP, COLE!!!

True, everyone is entitled to their opinion, but personally, I see it as almost inevitable. I mean, he's definately evolved far beyond where he was when he first began (I think EVERYONE here hated him back then), he's become a major face in the company (working numerous PR events and conventions, including E3 this year to help promote the newest video game), and he's really showing that he can get a major reaction from the crowds wherever they go. Call it the "Cena" way of getting over, because he did it pretty much the same way, but he's indeed getting over in a major way.

As for Khali, yes, he SHOULD always be a monster heel. Now, he's just this decade's answer to El Gigante.

On 21 Century's post: I agree with everything but MIZ ever being main event. I just don't see it. He doesn't have what it takes. It is just my opinion.

I hate Michael Cole as an announcer heel or face. He sux swamp water.

Cena as a heel just doesn't work. He's been there and done that and he's much better as a face that also gets some heat.

I don't like the Nexus push. We're talkin' rookies that haven't paid their dues. Yes, they have talent. I won't take that away from them, but I'm tired of every newbie getting a push when there are so many talented people in the biz that have been around longer than a cup of coffee. Let them take some bumps for a couple of years and then see who's still around.

Great Khali needs to be a monster all of the time. Let's face it, if this were real life, he would be unbeatable except by the very very best in the biz.

Vicki Guerrero? Why on God's green earth and the blue hell is this woman even in the biz? Yes, Eddie was a good wrestler in his day. Pound for pound one of the best. His wife? She has NO SKILLS. She gets cheap heat. Release her already. Vince, you've done great by her, but her time is done. Let her go to the indies.
Maybe some little outfit in Tennessee or Missouri could use her. Just the name recognition alone should give her some work someplace, but she's not for the WWE.

Everone have a great week.

Okay, let's talk Raw! Shall we?

First off, I just wanna say that there are TWO things that I think need to stop! 1. Building a monster heel, then turning him into a total pussy when he wins a major title. Sheamus was built up as a monster, but after winning gold, he becomes a total pansy who just barely wins his matches, or sneaks out of them with a DQ while keeping the title. Dammit! If you're gonna build someone as a monster, KEEP IT THAT WAY!

2. Stop with the damn anonymous GM BS! If anything, it's just annoying, and no one wants someone else getting over via "annoyance heat"! If we wanted that, we'd watch Smackdown and wait for Vickie Guerrero to show up!

Still, there were a few good points tonight. I thought the Miz/Cena match was great. I like how they made mention of their history too, instead of doing what they've done before, which is hope that everyone already forgot about it and act like it never happened. Looks like Miz is just a few steps away from the main event picture, which in my opinion, is AWESOME!

Okay... ONE more thing I think needs to stop. 3. Michael Cole SUCKS as a heel announcer! Again, just "annoyance heat"!

And did anyone else get the impression that the Raw main event at Night of Champions may be an Elmination Chamber match? Though they called it a "6-pack challenge" I could see it happening. Either that or each one has to bring a 6-pack of brew to the event and the one who brings the best takes the title. (Predictions: Sheamus-Galway Hooker Irish Pale Ale, Edge-Mill Street Wit Bier, Jericho-Fort Garry Pale Ale, Barret-Wychwood Hobgoblin, Orton-Flying Dog Snake Dog IPA, Cena-Samuel Adams Cherry Wheat)

A Cena heel turn would be the most interesting scenario, but I don’t really want to see anyone turn heel and join the Nexus. They already draw enough heat on their own. I’ve always felt the Nexus should be kept as is with Wade Barrett as its leader. If they really want to push the guy then the worst thing they can do is make him someone else’s lackey.

WWE have done well to build up a story where they can do pretty much anything with it now. The HHH scenario sounds fantastic, and would be the best outcome. But I read he needed surgery and is out until the new year. Also the way the WWE works these days is if there is a huge comeback it's often announced as it generates PPV buys. I don't expect to see HHH, but would love to be wrong.

I think another scenario people are predicting is the Cena mega heel turn and he is the mastermind behind the Nexus. That would be pretty cool, but wouldn't make sense with the way they've been massively fueding for the last 2/3 months. I imagine we're going to get a lame pay off where Vince is the mastermind behind it all and the secret GM too.

You are probably right, then again he isn’t the only one rumored to be the guy who double crosses team WWE. There is also the report that he could be out until October or as late as December while he tries to recover from his surgery to repair a torn bicep. If they are interested in making him the figure head of Nexus there are ways around the injury. Mainly going the same route WCW did when they turned Hogan to form the nWo and that would be have him run in during the closing moments of the match and double cross they people everyone is expecting him to help.

Triple H is going to be revealed as the 7th member of Team WWE. He is going to then do the swerve and be revealed as the leader of Nexus! He will say they have Sheamus a free pass because he wanted Sheamus all to himself when he got back...

What are the chances WWE will keep the Nexus gang dominating people until Survivor Series? Seems like a set up for a Survivor Series match. But having Nexus jump people nonstop until November (or whenever Survivor Series is) would just get old and boring.

With a name like KidKutter, it has to be good.

According to WWE.com Orton, Jericho, and Edge will face each other in a triple threat match on RAW tonight to determine the #1 contender for the WWE Championship at SummerSlam.

And they could have Mr. Fuji come out and translate the message... Then again, not sure how many people would find that as funny as us!

That is all true, and it would be good for a laugh hearing Michael Cole repeat it over and over again.
