Just heard the news about the passing of former NFL great and actor Merlin Olsen. He played for the LA Rams for 15 seasons and, along with Deacon Jones, Rosey Grier, and Lamar Lundy, made up the defensive line known as the Fearsome Foursome. Most of us here are probably too young to remember his football days (he retired back in '76). To younger generations, he's best known for his roles as Jonathan Garvey on Little House on the Prairie and the title character on Father Murphy.
