The Ultimate Forum Experience

JoshTee, real name Joshua James Thordarson, was born in Cavalier, North Dakota on February 13th, 1986. From day one he had asthma and many other diseases that would complicate his life for his first few years. Josh spent a lot of time in the hospital coming near death many times before finally growing out of his illnesses by age 2.

Known to many people around Cavalier as a 'child prodigy', Josh spoke in full sentences by the time he was one year old. By one year and six months he was reading and by two years he was writing and had even written a small book that his father still keeps as proof of his child’s knowledge. After that, learning seemed to halt for Josh.

Josh shared a close relationship with both of his parents, although his parents fought constantly. One night when he was seven years old this all changed though. His dad came home late one night drunk with another woman and admitted that he had been cheating on his wife. his two parents, Charlene and Gary, spit up for good following that argument. After custody hearings in court, Josh and his siblings lived with his mother on weekdays, and his father on weekends.

Josh stayed in Cavalier until the age of 10, when his mother talked to him about moving to Mayville: a slightly larger town 120 miles away. His family was reluctant at first, because there hadn't been this big of a change since his mother and father split up. After lots of talk, Josh's mom convinced them that it would be a good change for the family, and now she could pursue her new career by going back to college and becoming a teacher.

"Moving to Mayville was hard for me at first, but I quickly made many friends. Among them was Melissa Coleman, who stands out to me as the most important out of all I have been close to", Josh says. "It may seem crazy at this age, but Melissa and I have been planning on getting married. We have been dating very seriously for over two years now, and our relationship has been getting constantly better, and never worse."

Melissa signed up on the 3SW Forums shortly after Josh did and posts under the name 'Diva Assassin', a name based after Melissa's hatred for silicone-enhanced and a name which Josh credits himself for making.

On June 8th, 2002, after heavy promotion on the 3SW Main Page, Josh decided to check out 3SW Forums. He didn't search around on the site, but just signed up immediately and much to his delight, he felt as though he stumbled upon the best opinion forums on the internet. He quickly became a respected poster on the boards, and earned his spot among the Posters of the Month with his June title. He remains the only poster to be honored with the award in the same month that he joined the forums.

Josh has created his own fictional 'production company' on 3SW that has brought such things to 3SW as 3SW Team Wars, The Feud, and Armchair Booking Battles. Josh has also helped work on other major projects for 3SW such as the First Annual 3SW Poster Awards show and the upcoming "This Day in History..." feature.

"I hope to be a part of 3SW Forums for a long time to come," Josh says, "peace, nWo4life."
